What is Nutrition Response Testing?

Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) is a natural, scientific approach to optimal wellness using muscle testing. It is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body in order to determine the underlying causes of ill health. The body is able to communicate where deficiencies and toxicities are through energy frequencies that trained practitioners can detect.

The testing procedure is typically performed lying down with your arm extended straight with the practitioner lightly pressing down while testing different areas of the body (adaptations are made for physical limitations). If an area of the body is under stress, the Autonomic Nervous System will respond by conserving energy to that area, reducing energy to the arm and making it easier to push down.

The five most common stressors that can cause symptoms of poor health include heavy chemical toxicity, hidden food allergies or sensitivities, heavy metal toxicity, immune challenges and scar interference. As these stressors accumulate over time, they impair the function of major systems in the body.

When these are corrected through nutritional means, the body can repair itself in order to attain and maintain health and wellness. Nutrition Response Testing is safe and natural with no side effects, contraindications or adverse reactions—unlike prescription medications.

Initial Consultation

Two separate appointments – screening & report of findings

Initial Screening:

A series of non-invasive testing along with one-on-one coaching to determine a tailored wellness plan based on your individual health needs and individual findings. Explanation of programs and NRT provided. Please find patient paperwork under "Resources" tab.
(90 - 120 minutes).

Report of Findings:

Included in the cost of the initial screening.

Findings from testing performed on initial visit will be revealed and discussed in detail. This is the day you receive a customized game-plan based off of your body’s needs and your health goals.

(30 minutes).

Office Visit

A brief stop by the office to be retested and discuss any present health concerns or changes. Adjustments to your program schedule may be made. It is necessary to strictly follow your recommended office visit schedule as your program may change often, especially at the beginning. The goal is to gradually decrease visits as the body heals, but this is dependent on how dedicated clients are to their success.

Discover Health Through the Power of Light & Energy

Studies show that Infrared Saunas, Polychromatic Light Therapy, and Ionic Foot Bath can assist with:

Did you know that sunshine is the best way to take care of your health? It's true! The majority of people get improper light exposure which is linked to cancer, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, near-degenerative disease, depression, insomnia/sleep disorders, mood disorders, and many other conditions. We are surrounded by blue light all day from phones, computers, and more. Here is a breakdown of the different kinds of light (different wavelengths) and what they influence in the body.

5 Types of Bio-Active Light

1.  BLUE LIGHT: Influences circadian rhythm (sleep) in our brain.  Impacts neurotransmitters & hormones.

2.  UV LIGHT: Synthesize vitamin D.

3.  FAR-INFRARED: Felt as heat, stimulates changes in cell function & circulation.

4.  RED LIGHT: Impacts mitochondria to stimulate more cellular energy production called ATP.

5.  NEAR-INFRARED: Similar to red light but more powerful.

Schedule a sauna session to relax and realign your body through the power of light. You will feel calmed, warmed, and refocused.

Polychromatic Light Therapy

A simple and painless treatment using flexible pads, containing multiple infrared and visible red diodes, placed directly on the skin. Light energy from the diodes is absorbed by proteins within cells that lay beneath the skin which then releases nitric oxide, the body’s natural vasodilator. After just 20 minutes of treatment, blood flow is increased to nerves and other tissues.

Light therapy is typically given for a minimum of one to three times a week for 2-3 weeks up to 8-12 weeks.

Ionic Foot Bath

The foot bath contains salt water with electrodes that pass an electrical current through the liquid. The system ionizes water molecules, splitting water into H and OH- ions. This creates an ionic field that cleanses and purifies the body. Your feet are submerged in the water for 30-60 minutes. During this time, toxins are removed from the skin pores through the bottom of your feet. The water will change color reflecting specific toxins drawn out.

Do you take insurance?

We do not take insurance. Insurance companies do not cover nutrition. Please call or message us for details on pricing.

Do you accept children into your nutrition program?

Yes! We are firm believers in getting a handle on children's nutritional needs to help break the cycle of dis-ease that plagues each continued generation.

A parent or guardian (the one in the family who controls the food) must be on a nutrition program prior to a child getting testing. There are usually food eliminations that are an easier transition if a parent has already gone through them.

We also welcome furry friends!

How long will it take me to get better?

Everyone heals at their own pace. Nutrition is not a band-aid. It gets to the root of the symptoms, which does take time. It's not a quick fix or emergency room care. It takes a long time for a symptom to show up. It can take awhile to have lasting, sustainable healing. Most patients can expect at least an 8-month to 2-year time-frame, not seeing us every week, but maintaining their progress. The programs are done in 12-visit increments.

Does Nutrition Response Testing hurt?

No. We simply use the strength of your arm muscle to determine the status of your health. It is non-invasive, safe and natural for all ages.

Will I have to take supplements on a nutrition program?

Yes. We use whole food supplements as the genuine replacement parts the body needs to heal itself. Most digestive systems are not functioning well enough to optimally use the food we eat. Organic, whole food supplements are very important to kick the body into healing mode. Sometimes we use herbs and homeopathy as well. We help you change your diet and achieve optimal health!

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. We offer packages of 24 or 12 visits at a reduced price (see packages under Book Online). Military personnel/veterans and seniors receive an additional 10% off all services. We also offer a referral program. Our biggest discount is offered when you attend a workshop where you will receive $50 off an initial consult.
